Behind the Bottle
We believe knowing what's inside a fragrance should be just as easy as wearing it. We want to be transparent about how our perfumes are made, what goes into them, and the choices we make along the way.

Sugarcane Ethyl Alcohol
We use high-purity ethyl alcohol derived from sugarcane as the base of our fragrances.
It’s the same cosmetic-grade alcohol widely used throughout the fragrance industry. It allows the fragrance to perform as intended, evaporates cleanly on the skin, and is methanol-free.

What does "methanol-free" mean?
Methanol is a toxic type of alcohol that is not suitable for use in perfumes intended for skin.
Our fragrances are made using cosmetic-grade sugarcane ethyl alcohol and do not contain methanol. Every bottle is manufactured to meet cosmetic safety standards.

IFRA Compliance
Every Fonds fragrance is formulated in accordance with the standards of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA).
In simple terms, IFRA develops internationally recognized safety standards for fragrance ingredients. These standards help determine which materials can be used—and in what amounts—so fragrances can be enjoyed safely when used as intended.

Where Our Fragrances Are Made
Our perfumes are proudly manufactured in the Philippines by Tadhana Fragrances Corp.
We chose to work with a local manufacturer that shares our commitment to quality, consistency, and responsible production.

Thoughtful Packaging
We believe good design should consider what happens after a bottle is opened.
Our bottles are made from glass, a material that can generally be recycled through the appropriate recycling facilities.
Each fragrance comes in a lightweight paperboard box designed to be easily recycled or composted. The cap is made from plant-based material derived from corn.
They’re small decisions, but ones we believe are worth making.
